Underneath my skin
by Rana M
Mysterious shades of fate fallen bad
My soul gnawed upon in deprivation
Merciless saints wearing horns of evil
Mauled my dreams by discrimination

Had never been such life I ever wished for
There’s an infinite pain underneath my Skin

I had always been humble ever since
Explicitly lovable, pondering acclamation
It’s a crime to be loyal in the modern world
The word “love” seemingly lost its definition

Had never been such life I ever wished for
I’m alone but alive underneath my skin

Even if you find my eyes raining tears
My soul’s pure with no fluctuation
Wandering in this cruel wild world
People kept searching my imperfections

Had never been such life I ever wished for
I’m shattered and lost underneath my skin
